(More customer reviews)Purchased on 10 June 2009, $49.95 w/Super-saver shipping from Amazon.com. Product arrived quickly, and in perfect condition. I chose the P103 over the P104 because it is smaller, lighter and less expensive. It has performed like a champ: 2-3 hours of heavy, continuous use. Therefore I'm glad I didn't have to spend an additional $35-$40 for the P104. The P104 likely holds a charge much longer but the P103 has lasted long enough to complete most household projects I've thrown at it. Besides, it charges in less than an hour so a short coffee break and a bite to eat and the P103 is ready to go.

Update 30 Dec. 2009: In the last two weeks, during two recharge attempts, the recharging unit flashed both red and green indicators at the same time indicating that my P103 was defective. I removed the battery for a short period during the first attempt, replaced it, and it finished charging with no problem. The second time, I had to remove and replace it twice before it finally took a full charge with no problem. Still, I must now be concerned that the P103 is starting to go defective just 6 months and 20 days after I bought it. The old Ryobi Ni-Cads lasted me almost a full 2-years before they would no longer take a recharge. I'll update again, if and when the P103 fails completely to take a recharge.
