(More customer reviews)When I saw this Sprayer it was exactly what I had been looking for the last several years.I needed a Sprayer to be used in areas without electricity, and do a lot of spraying.What a dissapointment!I purchased it at a large home improvement center becasue it wasn't available through Amazon in the full kit version that has the batteries and charger.

I tested the unit with water, and the moment it was running water was spewing out of the areas where the tubing is clamped to the quick disconnect fittings.This could have been repaired by replacing the Ryobi clamps with small hose clamps from the auto parts store, but why!Worst than that was the trigger on the sprayer head.The trigger serves a dual purpose; to activate the sprayer head, and to clamp/unclamp the tubing that's connected to the Sprayer Head...this is the worst part of the system!The trigger is connected to a wedge that is supposed to clamp off the tubing to prevent paint delivery when the spray head isn't running.It does not function effectively unless you pull very hard on the tubing in order to pinch it off.In addition, it takes a lot of force to pull the trigger, so someone with weak hands would be fatigued very rapidly.If the tubing isn't totally pinched off, the liquid(could be expensive paint or stain)is leaking from the spray nozzle.

This is a great concept but Ryobi didn't do their design homework.It seems to me that correcting the issues I've mentioned would make this a very useful tool.Since the non-backpack version of this doesn't use the tubing, I will most likely purchase it.
