(More customer reviews)I typically don't take the time to review products I buy but I wanted to pass this information on to those that may become frustrated with this battery charger. This was the second charger like this that I had purchased after my original charger had failed and I was ready to give up and buy new batteries because I could not get the batteries to take a charge.Fortunately I had read online that these rechargeable batteries could be saved by giving the boost with a welder. After the batteries drain down so low after not being charged for days, these chargers will not charge them.To save yourself time and money, (and if you don't have a welder)just connect a standard 12 volt car battery charger to the proper plus and minus terminals on the drill battery (use a voltage tester to make sure you get the correct terminals).Just leave on the car charger for a few minutes until the battery "comes back to life".Then place the batteries in this charger (If the yellow "evaluating" light comes on, charge with the car charger some more).Once the red light on this charger is the only light on, your battery will be fully charged by morning).I have had no problems since I did this and both of my batteries work like new).Wish the instructions would have warned us about this before all the trouble!
