(More customer reviews)I put this zero clearance insert on my Ridgid tablesaw to help eliminate chipout on plywood panels.I saw a tremendous improvement in the quality of cuts over the original plate. The installation instructions were well written, but weren't actually necessary.I would offer two suggestions, however.First, check/perform the blade-miter track parallelism adjustment, as necessary -- prior to cutting the insert.Second, tighten the hold down screw only enough to lightly seat in the counter sunk hole in the front of the insert.If overtightened, the rear of the insert will rise above the height of the saw bed.
