(More customer reviews)I bought this blower because it was light weight and the price seemed good. However I have been nothing but disappointed with this since I bought it. First it is very difficult to start. Now one may think that is a characteristic of small gas engines, but that is not so for my other tools. (For example my Troy Bilt edger starts on the first pull every time.) Sometimes when you are starting the unit, the pull string does not retract all the way. Eventually when it shuts off the string will retract except for this last time I tried starting it. The unit is in the garage at the moment with the drawstrng hanging out of it and no way to start it now !
Once you do get the thing to start, it does a good job at blowing, but the controls for adjusting the throttle are limited. It is difficult to get it to blow just a little, its either all or nothing.
Getting it to stop is also a little annoying. You have to back off the throttle and then give it full choke in order for the thing to shut off.
Tomorrow is trash day where I live and this unit will be on the top of the garbage can. Its too bad there is not an option to give this item 0 stars.
